Got a new job, so looks like the 245 will be 20k over the next 4 months

 

Issue is that:

1) its a loan car, going to blow the 8k out of the water!

2) will need more servicing!

 

So first service is due soon - how much did people pay for it?

 

Checking Skoda website, they saying £179 - which seems pretty decent, though when you realise its just an oil change....

If it's on variable you'll get quoted more than the fixed prices shown on the Skoda website. 

 

Phone around if you have a few local dealers, they won't all quote the same. 

It says £169, on an Interim Service (after 372 days / 9,400 miles or sooner)

or £279 on a Major Service, but that is car 3-10 years old on Fixed Services.

 

The First Service at 24 months or 18,000-20,000 miles is called a Major Service, but that is not getting done what is done at a 2nd Major Service, 

48 months / 36,000 - 40,000 miles.

 

So do not get ripped off for what is a Oil & Filter change and Pollen Filter and look sees., & reports.
