Anyone use anything decent, preferably free?

Would be good if it could do AVI as well - got a few camera/camcorder shorts that I'd like merged into one file.

what about just normal windows movie maker?

I think there's something called HJSplit which joins files like that? But Windows Movie Maker would do it too.

If you can wait until I get home tonight I can give you access to my FTP server where you can download the apps you require.

Will PM you the login name and password tonight and the ftp address. Do you have an FTP client ? If not you can use IE for this.
