Spotify / bluetooth connectivity problem

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've got a 2014 octavia estate with the standard entertainment system and i seem to have next to no functionality when playing songs via bluetooth. I usually play music through spotify, but on the display the only button that isn't greyed out is play/pause. If i want to skip song, I have to do this on the phone. There's also no track listing or artwork. I've tried forgetting the phone and car then reconnecting, I've checked that both are set up to play media and can't think what else to check.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

Steve

I have the same problem when android phone connected. Works fine with iPhone though. It's really strange.

I had the same problem. With the MIB1 units like ours It's only a basic connection anyway, but you can get the skip fwd/rev buttons to work by changing the version of Bluetooth AVRCP your phone is using. I was able to do this on my Sony Android phone in the developer options.

Hi, thanks for the replies, changed the AVRCP to 1.4 and it seems to be working ok now.

It works now, with v1. 4. Thank you very much

Kudos, that's it
