Pressed Vrs button earlier on MY19 VRS, and nowt showed up on central media unit to select modes like normal, just an icon on dashboard. Any ideas why please, i want it back to normal !!!!

Very strange mine did the exact same thing today my 2019, short trip to the supermarket then started it back up and it started working again. On the way to the supermarket I did however notice that although the screen wouldn't display the button when pushed twice did change the drive mode. Bit annoying though tbh

Snap here. Did not know if i had done something without knowing it? Annoying though. Not been back out since so will see tomorrow. Hope it is not an electrical gremlin.......

Press and hold the power button on infotainment for 30 seconds. This will reboot and the issue will go away. Common gremlin on all of the MQB platform cars that I’ve owned with mode switch.
