12v supply to far away for sat nav

Featured Replies

Hi, i have just noticed that my Fabia 1.6tdi cr  2012 elegance does not have a 12v supply at the front of the car ,now most cars i have had i used the cigarette socket at the front of the car  for my sat nav with a short lead..However i noticed the nearest socket i have in under the arm rest ..i presume that this is the only one i can use..Failing this could it be a good excuse to pick up a unit with sat nav intergrated ...Any help or tips would be gratefuly welcome ..Thanks

Just buy a USB charge lead and plug it into a USB socket.

Or hard wire kit and install a fuse piggy back in the fuse box.

Sorry please excuse anything I may have missed but were do I find a usb socket

My apologies, I was on my phone before and missed the details. I don't think your car will have a USB socket so you'll have to go with the hardwire kit I guess.
