Phone mount

Featured Replies

looking for suggestions as to what to get to mount mine and the wife phone on, now my wife uses android phone and i use iphone, i was thinking perhaps some kind of magnetic fixing

anyone offer some suggestions or maybe some pics of there phones mounted in there yeti on the dash :)

On my Yeti I had a Brodit pro-clip centre mount I think it was called, slotted into the joints around the centre vents.

No pics, but if you look on Brodit Uk web site there are some I believe.

They do various fittings, not the cheapest but well made, I was pleased with it.

For a holder, the RAM Mounts X-Grip is a good way to hold different devices and is absolutely rock-solid (I use one on my motorbike to hold my iPhone).  You'll need to choose a mounting method though, which RAM Mounts have several options for.

Brodit pro-clip seems to be the best mounting solution just going to have to figure out what to put on it then

That's progress for you!

Pysical media is long gone :p

Kenu Airframe or Airframe+ from Amazon? Seems ok to me, but I only used it a short while before I got my current car with satnav, so don't need it anymore. Keep it just in case.

One of the things I want to avoid is mounting phones on air vents as it’s a pet hate lol

Can't say I blame you! The rubber feet can come off and fall down the vent into the depths of who knows where. I re-glued mine with superglue. Recommendation withdrawn.
