Door Lock MicroSwitch

Dear Fellow Briskodians

Looking for advice on replacing the micro switch on the driver's door lock.

Symptoms are: No puddle light. Boot latch wont activate unless another door is opened first. Lights on buzzer doesn't work. Interior lights/red door light not operating when door open.

What do I need to remove in order to extract the lock from the door? I have a replacement micro switch ready to fit. Is removing the door lock a difficult job and roughly how long would you allow for this operation?
