Adaptive Cruise Control - 3 Options???

Recommended Posts

Hi. In the options section of the Car Configuration of the Karoq, there are 3 separate Adaptive Cruise Control options.

Namely:

Adaptive Cruise Control - €328

Adaptive Cruise Control (high 210km/h) - €726

Adaptive Cruise Control to 160km/hr - €109

Can anyone tell my what the difference is?

Thanks.

First is simple Cruise Control in which one sets a velocity, which is being maintained automatically independently of other traffic.

Second is Adaptive Cruise Control where one sets a velocity and distance and the car uses radar to maintain them, increasing and decreasing according to traffic. Two sub-options: one can maintain max 160km/h and another one max 210.

Why would they call Cruise Control Adaptive Cruise Control? Are you suggesting it's an error?
