WRC 63 & 68 for sale ** advert updated **

Featured Replies

Hi reluctantly up for sale is my Octavia mk1 wrc 63 & 68 but due to the arrival of the exceptional 66 restored by Peter Drury I cannot keep them all.

63- January 2003 registered on a 52 plate, 126,800 miles on clock, motd on Thursday so full mot, car has full service history up to end of 2017 & has probably covered less than 20 miles since, timing belt was done at 112k, 6 previous owners on log book, the car started life as most wrc’s did a demo then I was the first owner (ex partners name still in the service book) bought with 880 miles on the clock, but after 3 months circumstances changed & I had to trade it in for a diesel elegance! Gutted! Then in January 2013 I saw it up for sale at a garage in Stockport & bought it back over the phone.

good points-

graphics still on the car

new tyres 😂

starts & drives very well & runs quiet & sweet

underside fresh solid & unwelded

recent proper green rear brake callipers replaced

new front coil spring

bodywork & paint presentable

history file full of recipts & paperwork

2 working keys

Bad points- (all cars this age has them)

graphics have faded a bit in places

slight chips & small rust appearing at one rear lower archwhere the sill meets

front bumper damaged at near side & one aftermarket vent missing.

drivers door lock doesn’t work with central locking

boot lock can only be opened from inside the car

fuel flap motor not working

Overall a very good base car to use as a rolling project or to make improvements.

68- April 2002 reg (I think) on an 02 plate, only 64000 miles, not till March 2020 with no advisories, full service history but unfortunately I have lost the service book however almost all the services can be verified by the stack of history/paperwork for the car & I have all the service receipts up until I bought it, timing belt was done at 43k, 3 previous owners again demonstrator then father & son who I bought it from through briskoda nearly 9 years ago, sadly the graphics were removed by the main dealer prior to the first owner buying it, the car was also registered in my home town, it has however had some modifications by the previous owner, H&R springs all round & spax shocks, full miltek stainless exhaust with sports cat (nice note), dump valve, revo remap believed to be running around 220bhp but have no proof, upgrade front brakes,

good points-

genuine very low mileage (64k)

low owners

again recent both rear correct green brake callipers replaced

both lower suspension arms & links changed

bodywork very clean & tidy with only minor blemishes

no advisories on mot

2 working keys

windows tinted

Bad points-

abs & traction control lights are on, suspect this is an abs pump or wiring issue, was very intermittent for many years but seems to be on more now than it’s off.

Fuel flap motor not working

Im quite sure I have missed things so I am happy to answer any questions by phone or txt, both cars are on sorn but motd so can be driven away, neither have done much miles in recent years but always started & run up to temperature every 2 weeks & regularly run round the block, cars are based in Aberdeen Scotland & at the moment are not advertised anywhere else as I would prefer these cars to stay within the briskoda community, I can send more pictures on request. Call or txt on 07885549851

asking price is now £3000 each, sensible offers will be considered. As there hasn’t been much interest I will now be advertising them in the elsewhere, don’t really want to sell but realistically have too many cars & they must go in order to keep 66. Thanks for looking.
