Octavia MK2 bolero headunit - bluetooth unit install

Featured Replies

This might have been covered in the past but I had a browse and are unable to find anything related.

I have bought the following bluetooth unit: https://www.incarconnections.co.uk/skoda-bluetooth-adapter-streaming-and-calls/skoda-bluetooth-adapter-for-streaming-and-hands-free-calls-ctaskbt003-quadlock.html

It doesn't appear to work but the website shows that I have the correct connections on the back of the bolero headunit.

AUX and SDHC are greyed out on the headunit as well. How can I get the headunit to recognise the bluetooth unit?

Do you have an external CD changer in the boot?

If not, then at a guess, you'll need the headunit coding to say there is an external CD changer before that aftermarket BT module will work.

No there is no changer in the boot.

How do I get the headunit coding to say there is an external CD changer?

Sorry my technical knowledge on entertainment systems is very limited.

Cheers,

I'm near Oxford.

Will have a look.
