my mother inlaw has a yeti and we always use the push button start.

 

but wondering why there is a key attached is there a key overide if so where is it?

Don’t have that system myself as too vulnerable for theft.

Isn’t the key to open the drivers door if the remote locking has stopped working eg battery flat?

And I thought there is somewhere to switch on and start engine too.

yeah like if the fob stops working while your out and wont un imboliser your car there has to be a backup
