Front assist

Featured Replies

Had the front assist warning symbol in red come up in the maxidot display. Was following a car at safe distance, it appeared when a oncoming car went by. The car was not that close. Been in that situation on a daily basis. Why now?

Has the front radar been knocked? If it's warning about a car coming the other way that suggests it may be pointing slightly to the right (I'm assuming you're in the UK) instead of forward?

No knocks to my knowledge. Up to the point when it occurred I had traveled 120 miles on A and B class roads. Only thing I had done was clear a amber check tyre pressure warning by blowing the tyre pressures all up to 2.5 bar and resetting on infotainment screen 4 miles before. Can't think that would affect it.
