TVR Tamora

Featured Replies

Firstly it's a very nice looking car and sounds pretty nice too. I was driving around Milton Keynes today taking my mate for a drive as he's not been in it since I've had some work done, and a pale blue Tamora came behind me at a roundabout so I admired it and carried on as I was on my little blat. After a few roundabouts the TVR caught up as I was waiting for traffic to clear at another r'bout. He followed me closely away and then decided he'd go to undertake me, so I thought what the hell he's coming up my inside so I'll put my foot down in 3rd and not only suprised him but suprised myself that I actually stayed ahead of him and the look on his face was priceless. I love my car so much more for that small moment as he didn't even bother again just lifted off and dropped back to cruising speed.

I know most people will say no he wasn't trying, the furby's a good car but not that good and so on but both me and my mate saw him straddling the lanes looking down my inside and you could hear the engine roar aswell, he definately went for it. My mate was also the one who watched his face drop and not look too happy. I'm proud of my little car and just thought I'd share my adventure with you.

Last but not least it seemed a day for exotic/sports cars today in MK with the sun out I saw a Porsche 911 Turbo, Cayenne Turbo and Honda S2000 as well. And while I was having my car serviced at APS in Brackley a Lamborghini Murcielago pulled up, what a beautiful car even in orange and the sound is amazing.

Did you see me in an MR2? :D

The good old fabia vrs is a funny old car... I went for a test drive in a 300bhp 350z GT4 special edition today and to be fair, it didn't seem half as responsive as my fabia. However, when the revs were wound beyond 4500rpm, the car clearly demonstrated that it was in a different league - there is so much power available throughout the rev range. For example, you change up to 3rd gear in the Z when you are changing to 4th in the fabia... The speed is deceptive! Go for a test drive to find out !!!

i was out for a little bimble round to swmbo's mum house when as i pulled onto the bypass shuey has harrasing me in last years car(so not quite as good as this years but should still have had me) but i thought "your not getting past me son" so booted it in 5th at 35 and bugger me sideways if he couldn't get past. i was pretty damn chuffed with the car then i noticed that the boost controller was set at its lowest point

these things really do go well
