Thought i'd share my little win this morning:

 

Finally got it working. Little bit of messing around.

You need from the Galaxy store:

Car Mode - install and don't open

You need from Google Play store:

Rock Scout
Easy touch

Finally you need LG Auto 1.2.1.2 from the below link:

Once all installed in the phone go into Settings and Notifications and turn off all notifications for Easy touch and LG Auto. Then open Easy touch and allow anything it asks for. Once this is done open Google play store and search LG Auto. Open the page and click the 3 dots at the top right and disable auto updates.

 

Once done plug into the car and follow the video above. Originally I had to do the above steps 3 times but now it works every time.

Phone I used is Samsung Galaxy Note 9

If you turn the phone round 90° and shoot the vid, then the video fits the Youtube screen, y'know. Makes it much easier to see what you're trying to show.
