Have 07 skoda  octiv vrs have upgrade the radio but my heater has stopped work as it use to come up on original factory radio . My question is can I take the newer type radio from the mk 2 face lift model and have my heater back working or will I have to put in my old one back in

You might want to start by adding some detail to your post... What radio did you originally have and what radio did you fit?

 

If it's a FL radio, you might need to add a FL HVAC panel to get the heater display back. Depends how important it is to you 😕

The heater will still work. It just won't display it on the radio.
