Fabia 2 Fog Lights won’ Work

Featured Replies

Hi

I have Fabia 2 1.6L Petrol, I had a dead battery couple of weeks ago, I changed the battery but since then the fog lights won’t work, I checked the fog lights fuse in the fuse box slot no. 38 looks ok also replaced it but it’s the same, the bulbs are ok as well.

Any advise what could be the problem?

thanks.

First things first, are you checking them with the headlights or at least the sidelights on and the ignition switched on? Otherwise, they won't work.

Do you know they were definitely working prior to the battery changeover? There should not be a causal link between a flat/swapped battery and lights failing. Usually, it will be things that need re-setting, such as one touch windows.

Hi

thanks for the reply, well it doesn’t work with and without the main headlights, the side lights work though, and yeah it was working before changing the battery.

I will try to change the bulbs maybe It is the issue although it looks ok.

"maybe" the coding has changed and the vehicle "thinks" it does not have them anymore......Not sure if this is an option in VCDS for example.
