Abs

Featured Replies

Driving on the motorway into work and abs /esp light came on any ideas

It could be many things. Get a diagnostic scan done first and report back.

Not possible to say without plugging in, you could be looking at a broken wire going to a sensor, a faulty sensor, faulty sensor ring, faulty pressure sensor in the hydraulic block G201,faulty ABS ecu, loss of voltage to the ecu (blown fuse, broken wire or faulty relay, loss of feed/earth to relay), faulty fuse box/relay plate, bad earth, faulty brake light switch, blown rear brake light bulbs (would need to be two though), if it's petrol, a problem in the engine ecu could bring it on or loss of comms to the ABS ecu, hydraulic pump or relay failure, bad earth to pump and ecu, etc etc etc, but as chimaera says, it needs a scan.
