Front Suspension Knock

So I bought my first Skoda  Octavia VRS 3 months ago and came with it  was this horrendously annoying rattle on the front end, even the smallest of bumps it would rattle. I managed to get the car over  a pit and had a bar in every  bush and bearing on the car. with the weight on the wheels off the wheels I found absolutely nothing, so today I bit the bullit and a pair of ARB Drop Links (start with the cheapest first). And would you know it after changing the o/s drop link, pure silence when driving don't know how because the old one showed no signs of wear, so people if you have a rattle go cheapest first nearly bought  struts and allsorts and ended up being an  £8 fix happy days
