running a wire behind the roof lining

Featured Replies

Hi All

I am looking at hard wiring my dash cam on my Skoda Koroq but looking at the roof lining at the edge of the window screen it looks like its really tight and no room for a wire  to run along the top to the a frame and behind the glove box.

has anyone done this and had difficulty with the roof lining

Regards

Allan

I installed mine along the roof lining, there is enough room to get cables in, run it down the front of the side panel so as not to obstruct the airbag, and you can get it into the glovebox by removing side panel where airbag switch is, but be careful not to pull cable out of switch as will come up as airbag fault, there is a guide in the Karoq guides section.

Hope this helps

Thank you Don  I was thinking about removing the a frame cover and attach the cable close to the window screen next to the bleed tube
