I open this topic, because after reading a lot ... I discover that many have this problem.
A few months ago, after changing the chain and distribution tensioner, I decided to change the water pump, which has an electromagnetic clutch.
since I live in a distant place looking for brands on the internet I decided to opt for the FAI AUTOPARTS brand, which worked well for less than 3 months ... after that it started to emit a SKUIIIID sound, when the supercharger was activated ... again 3 weeks ago I tried another brand but this new pump started to sound the same day .....
in forums it is commented that volkswagen group made an update of the materials of the water pump (specifically the electromagnetic clutch)
My doubt is that the original brand of the water pump is KEB manufactured in China .... for those who can not pay for the original spare part is there any good alternative?
I believe that more than one has made this modification in their VRS with some genuine spare part.

This is the problem in the automotive world.

 

Can you imagine even just by your list for this one part how many factories there would be making just this one part x that by all other parts.

 

NONE of the above are the original manufacturer, that is a company called Litens, which you will ONLY get if you buy through the dealer as a genuine part.
