Vag Com Cable not working

Featured Replies

Hi, I have bought a third party cable from ebay. I have downloaded Vag Com software from ross tech. I cannot seem to get it to work. The cable did not come with a driver and can't seem to find one. If anyone has had similar trouble and got round it can you let me know how?

Your computer should provide a driver. Run 'Add Hardware ' option in 'Control Panel'

When i plug the USB cable in it tries to install a driver automatically. I am running it on Windows 98 (which am not overly familiar with). It doesn't find one and asks me to insert CD. I have found a USB driver that makes it think that it is a serial port. The Laptop see the serial port but not the cable

Thats why is doesnt work. Its not compatable with Windows 98. You need Xp
