Turbo troubles

Featured Replies

Hi, Been having turbo problems for a while now, Over boost, Been using Esso supreme + diesel (which costs more) and seems to be ok, Anyway just come back off holiday yesterday from Norfolk, Using standard Diesel,,Done about 700 miles all together, Sometimes pushing the engine, sometimes not,, But on the A1 yesterday it kept over boosting  when accelerating, So having to pull over and restart the engine. I have tried the usual in tank cleaner which have not worked so i think now it's time for the Mr muscle treatment......  What is the easiest way of doing it on the BKD engine as access from underneath is limited?? Thanks..

Did this yesterday on mine, best option seems to be to take out the airbox, battery and battery tray, then the small pipe off the manifold. Fiddly but gets good results!
