Hi all,

 

One of those done to death, ,mind numbing posts but I havent seen much on these tyres and need replacements before Monday.

 

Got as far as thinking these might be alright and I'm happy enough with the price as I want decent tyres but before I jump in anyone have thoughts on these? 

 

My Scout doesn't  get green laned, but it does go down rough tracks and roads a few times a month, will experience mud on tracks and fields but I still want a reasonably well behaved road summer tyre.

Having put several hundred miles on them over the last few weeks I'm impressed with them. Don't really do off roading in the Scout but do drive fairly regularly on poorly maintained access roads, and if they are just as this good in cold weather then they'll be my default tyre choice. 

 

Hi Fin, thanks for reply. I did look at your thread but failed to find those locally or available this week for fitment. I've got a 900 mile round trip to make Monday and Tuesday and want to change before then. You got yours from Quikfit right?

ok I lied. Look QF can do them on Sunday. However they are V rated and the spec is for W. Which is why it didnt turn up on my original seartch.  I know its pedantic but...

haha I am scared to have a thought now in case you're one step ahead of me! I got the same fitment price as you for a mobile fitter doing these on Saturday AM. 

 

I have sent QF a message asking to confirm they are ok (I know they are technically but good to get a comment from the supplier before I commit to them)

Funny how mine is right now in the workshop having its new Michelin Primacy 4 fitted! Looking forward to sharing my inputs
