2.0 TDI Revo remap done ...

Featured Replies

So I had a stage 1 Revo remap done today at the excellent Corne motors in Oxfordshire. OMG, car drives like something else. Smoother pickup and then just goes and goes and goes. I think it helps that I have DTUK pedal box. Not fully tried out yet because on way home started a DPF regen. Always seems to run rough when regen-ing, is that normal?

Anywho, map seems amazing, but is there a way to avoid regens? If you drive it like you stole it will regens happen less often?

Can't wait to get back in car again 😊

In pre DPF days you always saw more smoke from diesels that were working hard. Still do on trucks here in Aus as many seem not to have one.

the smoke is just too much fuel being burnt, we call it 'reek' officially. Most good maps even with no DPF will not smoke at all even when you are caining it.
