Phone/Bluetooth not working

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2010 Superb Elegance with alot of bells and whistles but have an issue with the phone/bluetooth not working.

When it was purchased it did work and about 18 months and then stopped - my searches said to to unplug/plug in the module under the driver's seat, completed this and no change.

I then went and bought a replacement module with antenna - installed this and no change.

To press the phone button on the Columbus head unit only mutes/unmutes the radio and there is no phone option on the MaxiDot.

Any help or direction would be great.

Thanks.

Sounds like a wiring issue then, if you're sure that the new module is functional. But first I'd suggest a diagnostics scan, see if anything's amiss.

I was thinking the same about the wiring but I will get my mechanic to run a scan first to see what comes up.

Do you know if the module is wired directly to the back of the radio unit or is there a fuse box or terminal of sort between them?

Direct connection to the rear of the Columbus. No fuses etc.

Thought as much
