Arternoon all

 

Daughter's 2001 Focus 1.6 Zetec hazard relay is going into meltdown and I'm trying to identify 1) where it should be and 2) what spare I should order.  Trouble is, I'm doing this remotely and she's not particularly mechanically-minded 😞

 

Can anyone help me on this, please?

Duh!  You would think the number of times I have used that resource - and referred others to it also - I would have gone there myself.

As far as I can tell the actual relay positioning is on the fusebox lid, plus I don't think there are any other 3-pin relays on that box.  So, fingers crossed

 

I think my old Fiesta the hazzard switch was also the flasher unit like with most VAG models or it might be internal in the GEM (general electronics module) unit ?
