Which brand is better for Skoda Laura (octavia 2) aftermarket replacement brake pads, vika or bosch? 

@Omi247 - I've never heard of "vika" as a manufacturer of anything. Aside from Bosch, you might also consider Mintex, or OEM Pagid brands.

I had pattern pads which had initial bite but were not progressive, Ferodo Eco Friction were recommended to me on here and they are very good. Not even more expensive than many unknown name brands.

Ferodo, or the younger brand, Bilbo, Lol (i've probably got that wrong way round or summat).

Pagid pads and disks all round on the VRS. They have been really good.

I put pagids discs and pads, shoes and drums on my old mk1 and pagid disc and pads all round on my insignia.. they really quite good for a daily driver. 

Currently mintex on the mk2 as thats what got fitted during the service before i bought it... ihave no strong feelings on them either way, as i nothing to compare them with on this car yet. Theyre grand, but i reckon pagids are better...
