Enyone know type or grade mineral oil in gearbox, thinking I may give mine a change to maybe give it a little help to last longer 🤔

So what oil are you changing? The gearbox oil, or the DSG oil?

Dsg is the gearbox or am I missing my marbles

The gear oil and the mechatronic oil are separate on the 7 speed dry box. 

So which oil was changed by skoda from sinthetic to mineral, 

The oil in the pressurised mechatronic unit. 

Got ya, thanks never to old to learn, think I'll check level in gearbox and leave that bit alone
