Coil packs and plugs

Featured Replies

Changing out coils and plugs as I've no idea what was put in by previous owner last few days she's not starting as sharp on about 3 occasions, used no oil done nearly 1000 miles, will take pics of plugs that come out as if done on last service they have covered 7000 miles. And see if these coil pack have extra oomph they say they have, will check the vag ones that come out toomoo

What plugs you planning on putting in it?

Seen far too many issue's with plugs in my short 2 years owning my Vrs, Would only ever put NGK BR7'S or Denso Vk20's in mine. Ran my denso's for 9k there with only a tiny bit of misfire recorded on idle, Changed the BR7's 2 weeks ago and they've been faultless.

The plugs I've been using for years are Denso SKJ20 rather than the VK ones, so far without any issues touch wood. I'm tinkering with using the NGK ones Michael uses next time around.
