Trying to find a part bumper holding panel?

Featured Replies

Mk2 vrs petrol pre face-lift.

I had a front end bump. Not too heavy but looking to replace the bumper. But from the hit the metal panel behind the bumper has kinked. I think it might be the same panel that has the levers on that you pull to pop the headlights out. I've had a look at front panels and it doesn't look like it's this far back. It seems there is another panel in front of this that the bumper attached directly to. Does anyone know what part I am trying to find? I'd like to buy a new one of these so I can have the bumper fitted square and true. But don't know what to search for. Thank you

Bumper carrier. Called tps but they won't give me the part number. Its a bumper carrier/ bumper reinforcement bar. Does anyone have a part number for this?

The part number is given on that link 1Z0 807 109 C  based on it being a non "Scout" version and from 2005 ? if not just go back to the link and adjust the year

Just FYI you can get these on fleabay for much less than tps charge.

From memory mine cost me about 10 squid last year.

IIRC the part numbers for the standard Octy and Scout are the same but the VRS is different bit have a check on the 7zap site.
