vRS to Scout...

Featured Replies

I've had a 2001 yellow Octavia vRS mk 1 for the last 12 years or so (and 120,000 miles) but it has now been traded in for a newer car, a 2015 Octy III Scout 150.  Whilst I enjoyed the vRS, I opted to go for a Scout this time for its larger load space (slightly) and its 4x4 capabilities.  Hope it is as reliable as the last one!

A warm welcome to the Forum  !

Come on post a pic (or 2), and welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you have made a good choice. No reason why it shouldn't be reliable assuming that it has been looked after properly. No doubt you have checked the service history. I have owned my Scout since December 2015 when it was just 3 months old, and have not had any problems with it over 30,000 miles apart from a DSG gear selector issue which will not affect your manual car.

Coming from a MK1 to a MK3 you will find a lot of new tech stuff. Enjoy!
