In the never ending fight (well for me anyway) to find a quite tyre on a Mk2 Octy, I have tried Hankook, Michelin, Uniroyal etc, I seem to have found something pretty good, the Bridgestone Turanza T005. Whilst there is a little extra noise between 60-65, all my tyres have done this, these seem really quite in my 2010 Octy estate up around 70mph. They seem to grip well and felt fine through water.
