Evening,

 

Looking for some advice on getting an diagnostic plug in thingy to see if I can sort out my airbag light. 

 

I’ve looked briefly online and seen that they go from £35 to £50’ish. 

 

Anybody got one that they’d recommend? Obviously I’m after

one that will give me airbag codes and even better if it can turn the light off!

have you got a laptop or computer you can get close to the computer?

 

If you do just buy a usb to serial ODB cable for about £10 on ebay/amazon and get VCDS lite (free)

 

it will be able to clear airbag codes etc.

 

The other option is a bluetooth ODB connector to connect to a phone app but i'm unsure which phone apps will actually read all codes etc. Torque pro does not at least
