O3 FL highline rear view camera

Featured Replies

Hi, is there anyone who knows the part number for the highline rear view camera for O3 FL?

It has some extra features and would like to mode this one, not a simple camera.

Also understood that there are 2 versions, one with firmware preinstalled and one without. Any differences in the part number?

Hello,

3V0827566N with washer and 3V0827566L without washer.

No difference in the part number. You'll only find out when you try to install it.

What do you mean. I might install it and find there is no software? There should be a way to know.

I mean exactly that! Unfortunately if you're buying new from say, cars- equipment, there's no way of knowing until you come to try and program the camera with VCDS. In that case, you'll need VCP to upload the parameter file to the camera.

Uff. Need then to search for a used one. Need to be sure it has the software. To much trouble if I need to activate it with Odis.

What about calibration, does  the camera need calibration? I found that this is also done via Odis.

I didn't calibrate my camera and it works fine.
