Paddle Shift Replacement for Mk2 FL Octavia

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Recently my upshift paddle has been working intermittently. A local garage here has quoted me $300 for new paddles (3T0 951 527).

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with using different part numbers (such as 4E0 951 527) instead, as it's over 50% cheaper if I order that instead.

Thanks!

If it's just the upshift paddle, I'd be tempted to take them apart and check the switch is OK.

It's probably a SMD component that costs a few $ at most and any half decent electronics repair place should be able to replace it for much less than $300...
