Anyone mapped a Land Rover?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking into the possibility of getting my Discovery Sport remapped. It’s the Ingenium 180hp diesel engine. Anyone know of a Disco having been done before?

thanks

Martin

I know of mapped and tuned Land Rover diesels, used in competition etc.

As to modern Land Rover products i would worry more about having a valid manufacturers or aftermarket warranty than remapping.

They are not the greatest of engines they use.

It’s a 16 plate, so not new exactly, but only 30k miles, but are they not really mappable?

Ask a remapper.

Everything is remappable with a ECU. Even with a 'Locked ECU'.   Well for someone with the gear and more than just an idea.

Celtic Tuning. Quantum Tuning, TDI Tuning and many others offer Remaps or Tuning boxes.

As i said i would rather buy a warranty that might pay out than a remap.

?

Is it seriously under powered?
