satnav and digital speedo possible ?

Featured Replies

Decided to try the satnav (Amundsen) on my car today for the first time . One slight problem though , I like to use the digital speedo but the satnv overrode this with the next direction or command was displayed instead. On my previous fords I could keep the digital speedo and look at the bigger screen for directions . I did look in various settings but couldn't find anything to keep digital speedo and the satnav running at the same time . Maybe ive missed something but is it possible to do what I want it to do ?

Just change it back using the steering wheel controls.

Press the main 'enter' button on the far right of the steering wheel controls.

This button, along with the scroll wheel (and pressing the wheel) will allow you to display a whole host of things on that screen from speed, to journey average mpg, since refuel average mpg, nav directions, audio details, lap timer (if your car has it enabled) etc. etc.

Edit - you can turn on split display on the main screen to retain next 3 instructions if you want that too

Bingo ! that works a treat . I had only tried the scroll wheel on its own which tried to cancel the route , never even knew what the far right button did until you said about it :wondering:

 Thanks.
