And finally, really confused.   I fond a description of what to d. It shows the clips running horizontally and tells me to pull up. But surely if I do that, I'll break the clips?

 

 

 

 

Like all car things, its easy once you know how!

Just hold the bar of the grab handle and pull straight up, You do have to pull very hard but eventually all the clips will give way

Rest should be easy now!!

The full bit from the manual is as follows

Hi there! You've been doing exactly the same as I have this weekend, I've managed to get the trim panel off but I did break a few of the clips doing so. Just give it a good hard yank with your tool of choice and it will come away from the inner door skin. You will need replacement clips though!!

When fitting new speakers in the front doors, do you need a spacer plate or do they just screw straight to the inner door panel??
