Hi guys what engine Oil does skoda say to use for my car? and does anyone use the cheaper brands and find it just as good? been looking at the prices and there's a huge difference.

would like to hear your views on what you use?

First I'd want to know your use case, because there's no point in buying a high end full synthetic for 3k miles per year.

Quantum Longlife sounds like a fair price oil might try that next time

Oil is silly money depends where you shop and very high on a service invoice. The Quantum from eBay and TPS are reasonably priced and about half what dealers charge and less than other brands for compatible oil.

I’m using Quantum Platinum 5W-40. It’s bargain in comparison with another brand and it’s quality oil used by dealers.  I have 160k on clock and still going 💪. Changing every 5k or 6 months.
