2015 vRS TDI rear discs and pads

Featured Replies

Looking for some advice on rear disc and pads. I want to stay OEM and get one of the local Skoda or indy garages to do for me.

What I'm wondering is, is there a fixed price maintenance offer? I know Ford offers this.

And what sort of cost is "reasonable"?

I've sent off a couple of enquiries and the first returned quote is £261 including VAT.

Disc / Pad price not showing on the Fixed Price menu anymore,

but never heard of a Main Dealer being reasonable.   This one in the Fabia thread is a particularly greed barsteward on the parts desk.

Whereabouts in Scotland are you? We might be able to recommend somewhere.

Thanks Ken. I'm in Fife. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I've just had a second quote back for £263 from another Skoda dealer.

Brembo OEM spec 272mm rear discs & pads can be had from ECP for £126 delivered using discount code WEEKEND37 at present.

Add an hour and a half or so labour at a good independent or tyre centre, and you should still end up quite a bit cheaper?
