Ear Defenders Needed !

Featured Replies

Travelling back from Scotland yesterday, and during a 650 mile hitherto trouble free  round trip, the volume on the Columbus went berserk, up to the max just like the boy racers enjoy ! All attempts to silence / turn it down, using both the steering wheel control & the volume regulating button,  resulted in an immediate return to maximum volume levels - I tried the radio, SD card & USB and all media types were the same, ie, deafening uncontrollable  decibels. I switched the whole thing off, & after about 15 minutes of silence, tried again, and for the remainder of the journey ( some 100 miles) all worked perfectly. I just wonder what could have caused the deafening problem, should I be worried, or just put it down as a glitch that won't re occur ? Obviously if it does, it'll be getting booked in, cannot do without the music or radio !

Are you sure that this isn't the clever facility that senses if you are falling asleep? 😉
