Please help. I tried to update columbus navigation softwere, went to skoda portal and put my vin number, first it displayed error message and on second trial it displayed message' softwThere are no map and are updates available for this VIN. Please contact your local retailer for more information.' I contacted the dealer (west london Skoda) They say only dealers can update now! and they will charge me for it. If this true obviously they have changed their goal post. If anybody had this experince please advice

No you can do it yourself its just that they are updating the maps and the are late getting them from 3rd parties
