4mm chip as per pic . is rust a worry, with modern metallurgy ? was thinking of leaving it alone and repainting entire door when more nicks have been picked up, in a year or two 

 

if it can be spot-treated, which specific product do you all recommend ?

Layering up the Chip-ex kit would work on that. Nice thing being that it is just one bottle as opposed to dealer kits where colour and clearcoat are separate.
