Hi everyone I need some advice on this my dashboard says check oil on cam chain in 20 days

"Oil chan." means Oil Change. it's just wanting an oil service, nothing to do with a chain. What engine does it have? It might not even have a chain!

Exact wording is "Oil chan. + insp. in 20 days".
As stated above it means that your car needs an oil change plus an inspection service in 20 days time.

If your car is less than 3 years old and therefore still under warranty then you need to get it done soon, and not wait until December.

The warning that says oil change + inspection in 20 days means just that.

How did you see " check oil on cam chain "?

It's not just time based, it's mileage too. Don't leave it until December.

There are two types of service interval...

1) Fixed - 15,000 km's (9,300 miles) or 12 months, whichever is reached first.

2) Variable - Up to 30,000 km's (18,600 miles) or 2 years. The car decides for itself based on oil viscosity, journey length, number of cold starts etc.
