Skoda karoq wheel locking nut.

Featured Replies

Hi hi I received a " wheel locking nut" this morning from my dealer in the post.

Has anyone else been sent one.

I presume you never checked when you collected the car that everything was present and correct, including the locking wheel key. The dealer must have realised that they haven’t done the PDI correctly and came across said locking bolt key and posted it out to you. Who knows what else they’ve missed.

Yes I'll have a look this afternoon.

I found out to my cost (£40) that it appears that no locking key was supplied when I went to get my two front tyres changed on my Kodiaq after 29K. Bit late to raise it with the dealer after 2 1/2 years.

I requested a spare wheel locking key when ordering the Karoq 2 months ago and had previously bought a spare one for my Yeti.  This was because some years ago I found it necessary to change a wheel on my then Saab 9-5 - it was raining and I was in a hurry, and absent mindedly, I forgot to pick up the key from the roadside.  I soon realised & returned 10mins later - fortunately the key was still there.  So ever since....
