I ordered a Scala some 6 weeks ago. Called in at the Dealers yesterday 12/10/19 to see how far the build date was for the Scala had no build date. So asked about the Kamiq and if i could change my order as there was no build week for the Scala  i could. looked for a Kamiq SEL 1.0l Quartz grey and there was one being built week 43 2 weeks away. For a Dealer somewhere. He said i could have that one so ordered it and it should be here 2nd week November just after launch    So Happy bunny

My Order is confirmed today.

Just a KISS 1.0 SE DSG in Desire Red.

 

Not sure yet if buying registration number AH69 BLO to use on it now and have it for a car in the future.

I think the DVLA night not let me have the number even though the sale will go through online.

Congrats George best to spend it and enjoy it while we are here or what's the point in going to work.

Well my KAMIQ is in Emden Germany. Waiting for ferry. Might be here for day of Launch ?

When I ordered mine two weeks ago I was told 3.5-5.5 weeks delivery but the dealer is being very vague as to the actual delivery date.

 

This close I would have expected a more accurate info but it appears I am expecting too much!

 

Anyone else in limbo land?

Well picked up my new Kamiq SEL 1.0l 21/11/2019 not had chance to look at it properly first couple of niggles no Logo on textile mats i know they are mats but for an SEL no led reading lights no Boarding spots

Terrible fuel economy  there.

skoda1982 your Kamiq looks very smart in that colour. Not usually a fan of Grey cars but it suits the shape and style, enjoy.

Does look good in that colour. The chrome window trims too, my local dealer has an SEL and an SE, and the plain surrounds on the SE really do look low-rent with a light body colour.

Wonder if you can confirm something?

 

Had to pop in to dealership today and whilst waiting had another look at some Kamiqs ( they must breed like rabbits, there's now three out on display ). Went in to one of the basic one's but found the center arm rest had no ratchet therefore when you rest your arm on it, it lowered to lowest position - how weird and not at all comfortable. Assumed the armrest was broken so tried it on the other higher spec models and they're all the same.

 

With any other VAG car I've tried the centre armrest is height adjustable but no such feature in any of the Kamiqs I saw. Is your's the same?

Not noticed will try   lNo just slides out but to me its at the right height but no good if you put the hand brake on it lift's it up so only good for motorway driving (i don't normally use armrests)

Jeez - that's a design flaw if I ever saw one. The centre armrest sounds simply naff rather than simply clever.

Picking up mine on Saturday morning.

ordered textile mats, bumper protector, rubber boot mat and sports pedal covers.

 

really looking forward to picking it up.
