Very happy with my new Karoq, despite all the down points regarding the 'Kangarooing' and shutting off on 2nd gear at say rolling start at the roundabout.

Only took me a couple of hours of driving to work it out. Depress Clutch gently before acceleration while on the rolling start manoeuvre. 

 

So your car has an issue but driving in this way means no problem.
