The car has done 81k miles. The other day while cruising at approx 60mph it goes into limp mode with the EPC light on. Turned the car on and off and all is ok again and hasn't returned since

 

Vagcom says the fault is P0088 ( fuel rail/system pressure too high) any ideas the main culprit for this?
