What are the differences between a pre and post FL SEL spec we estate? (Aside from the infotainment, outside styling and (I think) LED light?)

 

I ask now as I'm stuck between options of a pre FL SEL spec and a FL SE species car both with the older SEL being about 700 more expensive at £14200 with 7.5k on the clock)

 

I also have some more specific questions that I'm totally not sure on:

 

Photos attached are from the pre FL SEL. From what I've read around the forum, would I be right in saying this is the MIB2 Amundsen infotainment? (The AT advert isn't clear) and if it is the screen can be updated by just dropping in the FL 8 inch screen with no additional work needed, is that right?

 

Secondly (this may be a stupid question) the car doesn't come with a spare. I much prefer to have a full sized spare on hand, but the tray pictured doesn't seem to hold one, is this just easily removable so that a spare could be dropped into it easily or would I need something else?

Depending on the wheel size fitted to your car, you may need some spacers to lift the boot floor. The tray lifts out easily.

And yes that is an MIB2 Amundsen.

I know it has the 16" velorum alloys and the variable boot floor!

 

Am I right to say that the screen can just be replaced with the FL 8 inch version with no issues for that head unit?

 

And yes, screen can be just swapped for the 8 inch screen. But not the 9.2 screen
