Bluetooth connection

Featured Replies

Hi

I have Octavia 2010 L&K  bought recently

I expect that the bluetooth is standard in all second generation

I av read on this forum about “ a box under driver seat” but it seems my car foes not have one.

Is it possible that it could be somewhere else as the driver seat is controlled electronically?!!

If no bluetooth, any recommendation for a bluetooth kit that suit the car?!

thank you all.

I too have just bought a 2011 L&K and have the same thing, according to the manual it would appear that back in the day bluetooth was an optional extra on the L&K. I am pretty sure that without the module that you wouldn't have BT.

I am going to be loooking for a suitable BT module and seeing if it is possible to retrofit, however be mindful of the airbags in the pillar, that is the only thing that is bothering me.

I’m having a similar issue.

when I go into the settings I can tick to “allow Bluetooth” but I still can’t connect to it!

would it show that option if the module wasn’t installed?

No box under the drivers seat, no Bluetooth...

The Bolero did not get Bluetooth as standard, so if you have it then it was added as a factory option or someone has retrofitted it.

Some people locate the module in the dash end panel with the fuse box, be sure to check there too.

A lot of people now have access to App based diagnostics, it is possible a previous owner enabled Bluetooth in the hope it would work (hence the listing in the on-screen menu) but didn't install the module and microphone.

Thanks!

nothing under the drivers seat except for some plugs under a flap but they are there on the passenger side too.

anywhere else it might be than under the seat?
